Job description: HB Studios is a driving force in the creation of sports video games and the studio behind PGA TOUR 2K Golf – presently working on Console and PC. We have an opportunity for a 3D Artist to join our team of developers, creators, and fans, who are passionate about the art and process involved in video game development.As a 3D Artist, you will work with a team of professionals to create realistic 3D Art for a AAA gaming experience, breathing life into one of the fastest growing sports games series in the industry!Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Create high and low-poly 3D models and textures for environment props, equipment/accessories and architecture, using innovative techniques and pipelines.
• Work across multiple disciplines including modeling UV mapping, texturing, optimizing, integration, and implementation.
• Work with the development team to prioritize and develop procedural assets to streamline art processes, workflows, and pipelines.
• Understand integration pipelines and take assets from creation to in-game, strictly adhering to the workflows and processes..
• Maintain the finished models throughout the life-span of the project.
• Write and maintain documentation of workbooks on Confluence.
• Participate and engage in team and department meetings.
• Provides support and guidance to Junior 3D Artists.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Typically, a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in 3D Art.
• Proficient with Maya, 3DMax, Photoshop, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer
• Experience working with game engines (Unity/Unreal).
• Familiarity with source control software (ex. Perforce), and project tracking tools and software (ex. JIRA/Confluence and Shotgrid)
