Job description: Spark Power, a trusted partner in power in North America, is looking for a Project Manager Powerlines to join our Belleville Ontario team . The Project Manager Powerlines will manage construction and maintenance projects for Spark Power and will play an integral role in the efficient execution of work. The candidate should have prior experience and expertise in, project management of high voltage, medium voltage and low voltage power distribution equipment including switchgear, circuit breakers, relays, transformers high voltage and low voltage cables and control systems. The candidate will have significant contact with customers and will need to interpret their requests and then discuss a plan with management to meet their needs.What will you do as a Project Manager Powerlines ?
- Manage working relationships with clients, internal resources and third parties such as vendors, subcontractors, and utilities.
- Provide accurate project estimates, including labor, materials and equipment
- Develop project scopes and objectives
- Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
- Identify and address project challenges proactively, finding solutions to keep projects on track
- Monitor project costs, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures whenever possible

Do you have the Spark? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 5 years or more of construction experience as a Powerline Technician (Lineman), preferably as a Foreman or Lead Hand
- Computer proficient and able to learn new computer programs
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Project management experience is a definite asset but not necessary
