As a member of this collaborative team, you can expect a safe, diverse and inclusive environment, and on-going learning and career development opportunities.About the Role:Reporting to the Chief Estimator of our BC Buildings Group, our Intermediate Estimator will be responsible for leading high complexity project pursuits, as well as determining project scopes, accurate quantifying/costing and managing deadlines.As an Intermediate Estimator at Graham you will:

  • Complete estimate quantification and costing of general condition requirements, labour, and equipment, including productivities, material, and subtrade plugs.
  • Lead or participate in the bid close on projects.
  • Develop scopes of work for subcontractors to provide budgeting assistance on medium-sized projects.
  • Select and invite to tender trade partners that are assessed to be financially viable with adequate manpower and appropriate level of expertise to complete the work.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders that reflect and support Graham core values.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Completion of a diploma or degree in a related post-secondary program.
  • 4+ years of a combination of field and estimating experience; design-build experience and proficiency in a variety of general procurement methods is an asset.
  • Specific experience with estimating buildings construction projects.
  • Proficiency in the use of Graham software suite, MS Excel, scheduling software (Primavera preferred), quantification software (such as OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Agtek), and BIM modelling is an asset.
  • Ability to foster and develop relationships with clients, trades, and team members.

Compensation:

  • $100,400 – $138,100 per annum
  • Salary will commensurate with education and experience

Title: Communications Coordinator

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 a year

Our client, a leading non-profit organization based in Toronto, is seeking a Communications Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all internal and external communications for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the organization’s mission and goals
– Create content for all communication channels, including social media, website, newsletters, and press releases
– Monitor and analyze the success of communication initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement
