Job description: This is an excellent opportunity to join an established residential real estate developer/builder in a Construction Project Manager role, overseeing project management responsibilities for a mid rise residential building project. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with an established team and oversee a mid rise building project in Welland, ON.We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise mid-rise construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.Overall responsibility and authority for the direction, completion, quality, financial outcome, technical success of the project, and day-to-day execution of activities (including quality, schedule and performance) and will strive to ensure compliance with the Quality Management Program. The Project Manager accomplishes this through close coordination with the Project Quality Manager, and other team members. The PM will strive to ensure that all specified requirements and procedures are understood, implemented, and followed. The Project Manager also establishes and maintains positive relationships with owners, subcontractors, design partners, and trades.   • Proven experience as construction project manager
  • 10 plus years of experience in the Ontario Mid to High Rise Condo Construction sector
  • Mandarin speaking is an asset but not mandatory
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software (Procore)
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A team player with leadership abilities
  • BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field an advantage
  • PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:
