Position: Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
ARYZTA is a global food business with a leadership position in specialty bakery. We are currently seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician for our Brantford, Ontario facility. The Shift Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure the smooth operation of the production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment
– Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
– Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment
– Work with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
– Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
– Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
– Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial control systems
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
– This is a full-time position working rotating shifts
– Occasional overtime may be required
– Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
