Job description: Job Description:Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is currently looking to fill a temporary position for a Administrative Clerk/ General Helper at our Christina Lake Lodge, located near Conklin, Alberta. This position is responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining room while assisting the Cook in preparation of meals. Duties will include kitchen and site maintenance, administrative tasks, safety and teamwork. Reporting to the designated Supervisor, the successful candidate will work 20 days on and 10 day off rotation.Please note this is a seasonal position (May-September)Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of an Administrative Clerk/ General Helper include, but are not limited to:Kitchen Maintenance
- Washes pots, dishes, glasses, cups and all other kitchen equipment after each meal and as needed
- Assists with putting away groceries using the First In, First Out method (FIFO)
- Sweeps and mops kitchen/dining room floor after each meal
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining area
- Replenishes desserts, beverages and condiments as needed
- Assists the Cook with inventory
- Taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests
Lodge Maintenance
- Removes debris and maintains cleanliness of the site and surrounding area
- Maintains cleanliness of recreation rooms and hallways
- Scrubs boot room/entrance way to remove dirt and washes boot trays, overhead racks, splash guards, doors (inside and out), windows, curtains, ceiling and walls
- Sanitizes the dining area floor
- Selling and Taking reservations.
- Handling gas and propane.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate clearly and concisely in English
- 1+ years of experience in a remote environment or previous experience as a Room Attendant, Houseman, or General Helper is an asset
- Campground, Lodge, or Cabin work experience is a strong asset
- Must have a positive attitude and work well both as part as a team and independently
- Must be able to and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors in all weather
- Must be reliable and consistent
- Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Food Safety is an asset
- First Aid is an asset
- ProServe for handling liquor.
