  • Greet customers warmly and ensure a good customer experience;
  • Assess customer needs and provide expert advice on flooring department products;
  • Present and demonstrate the product highlighting its positive features and suggest complementary products;
  • Support the marketing of products in its department such as: display of merchandise, visual presentation and labelling;
  • Keep up to date with new products and their functions;
  • Ensure and participate in the maintenance of his department;
  • Be aware of current promotions and flyers;
  • Develop a basic knowledge of all the departments in the store;
  • If required, operate a forklift, in accordance with the procedures and policies of the organization;
  • Comply with policies and procedures regarding loss prevention, breakage of goods and health and safety;
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
– Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
– Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
– Complete work orders and maintenance logs in a timely manner
– Assist with building repairs and renovations as needed
– Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Prior experience in a maintenance role preferred
– Strong mechanical aptitude
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Good communication and teamwork abilities
