Job description: An assistant construction Project Manager is a professional who helps leads and oversees a construction project. Provides support to a Project Manager and helps ensure a project’s successful completion. Their duties may include managing payroll, communicating with clients and stakeholders, and developing reports.Project Manager’s Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Identifying problems and offering efficient solutions
- Establish project procedures with contractual documents and quality plans for work. Oversee project controls, schedules and budgets.
- Creating reports on project progress and submitting them to Project Managers
- Communicating with stakeholders, employees, and clients
- Assigning tasks to employees
- Researching information that may help leverage project development
- Overseeing budget and project spending
- Analyzing data collected during, and for, the project

- 5 years progressive construction experience, specifically in ICI New Build or interior fit out projects
- Post-secondary diploma in a construction related discipline
- Experience in TTC projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of different construction methods, sequencing, potential problems, and time-lines
- Familiar with project management and estimating software programs
- Knowledge of relevant construction law and building code
- Forecast and work collaboratively with construction leadership to implement necessary changes to improve project performance.
