Job description: We’re currently seeking an Automotive Refinishing Technician for our Salmon Arm location, in B.C. We offer competitive flat rate wages at %100 full sheet, ranging from $24 to $27 flat rate for paint hours. - Preparing surfaces for painting by spot filling, sanding and masking;
- Matches colors and mixes paints;
- Applies primers, primer surfaces, sealers, base coats, single-stage and clear coats in accordance with manufacturers OEM
specifications; * Documents in progress repairs, including photo documentation;
- Inspects vehicles for flaws after baking and corrects;
- Inspects repaired panels and bodywork to meet quality standards;
- Cleans and polishes painted surfaces and imperfections to meet Craftsman standards;
- Ensures quality control hand off to Autobody Technician is completed;
- Contributes to material usage tracking and consumption.
