  • Restores vehicle finishes including removing exterior trim and hardware, matching colours and mixing paints and preparing surfaces for painting.
  • Reviews damage reports, estimates refinish costs and plans for work to be performed.
  • Plans refinish procedures using paint chips, spray out cards, manuals and experience.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the customer’s vehicle and returns vehicle settings.
  • Completes repair orders within specified time frames.
  • Follows all hazardous waste and safety regulations; completes required safety training courses; wears required PPE and adheres to company policies.
  • Completes necessary training as required and in accordance with prescribed timelines and manufacturer requirements; willingness to acquire additional certification as needed.
  • Works closely with the production team to provide accurate information to customers and the dealership team in terms of estimated repair times.
  • Provides quality care and service to our valued customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Automotive prep/refinish experience required.
  • Automotive Painter trade membership an asset, but not required.
  • Process driven with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to use refinish equipment, spray cards and computer tinting.
  • Focus on quality workmanship, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Operates with the highest level of integrity.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Positive approach to challenges and changing priorities.
