The head office is based in Vaughan,ON but they are open to candidates working out of their office near Edmonton, AB.ABOUT THE POSITION
- Conduct project-specific assessments for material, labor, and equipment quantities.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Estimator and Project Manager.
- Procure vendor and subcontractor pricing according to project specifications and formulate estimates.
- Initiate communication with suppliers to obtain price quotations for materials essential to precise project estimation. Interpret and analyze drawings and specifications.
- Review historical cost records to ensure alignment with the scope of work.
- Create cost analyses encompassing all material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
- Draft scope of work correspondence.
- Document and pursue all necessary proposals or bid forms.
- Foster collaboration among various stakeholders, including engineers, architects, project coordinators, and subcontractors.
- Independently plan, execute, and complete estimating tasks.
- Engage in field visits and participate in pre-tender meetings.
- Maintain communication with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor Site Instructions and Changes Orders as required.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- 5 to 10+ years of experience as an estimator in the civil industry in urban and rural area
- Experience working on projects between $20-$50 million.
- Degree or diploma in a related field is an asset
- Previous experience with BlueBeam and Bid2Win is an asset
- Good knowledge of local trades and subcontractors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
COMPENSATION
- $90,000 to $120,000 salary based on experience

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Administrative Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the management team and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Organize and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the management team
– Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
– Maintain accurate records and files in both electronic and hard copy formats
– Assist with organizing and coordinating events and activities
– Conduct research and compile data as needed

Qualifications:
