  • Abrasive blasting on tanks, vessels and pipeline projects.
  • Spray and/or roller application of industrial coatings on industrial materials.
  • Assist supervisors in field operations as required.
  • Troubleshooting issues with field sandblast unit, compressor, blastpot, hose, etc.
  • Select appropriate coating and mix as per manufacturers specifications.
  • Testing the atmosphere and paint/coating thicknesses and filling out the required documentation.
  • Holiday testing when required and filling out the proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with onsite client representatives.
  • Working safely and maintaining a clean working environment.
  • Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance.
  • Work in a safe and conscientious manner.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 2+ years of directly related work experience operating various types of equipment.
  • NACE Level 2 is required
  • Red Seal Painter certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience with sandblasting and bristle blasting preferred.
  • Experience running a plural component pump or an airless spray pump an asset.
  • Experience applying 100% solids epoxy coatings preferred.
  • Experience with HV and LV holiday testing.
  • Must be adept with two-part epoxies, zinc coatings, high temperature coatings, surface prep to all SPC surface prep classes.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of lead abatement methods, protections, and testing for workers.
  • Requires close attention to detail.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote our products and services.
