We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team and help drive the success of our growing portfolio of projects.Job Description: The Commercial Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience estimating diverse projects such as healthcare, education, retail, office buildings, and multi-family developments.Commercial Construction Estimator Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and related documents.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to fully understand the scope of the project.
- Solicit and review subcontractor and vendor bids, ensuring accurate pricing and scope coverage.
- Develop project timelines and budgets based on estimates and collaborate with the team to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor cost trends and provide suggestions for cost-saving alternatives.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all estimates and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Commercial Construction Estimator Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
