In this role, you will:

  • Seek opportunities to assist our homeowners by providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Present themselves in a professional and customer-focused manner in all interactions with homeowners
  • Review, assess, and report any issues on safety to Health & Safety Rep or direct supervisor, including ensuring protective gear is properly worn
  • Complete repair lists resulting from quality control MPDI and PDO inspections
  • Assist in identifying and assessing construction deficiencies and perform repairs in a timely manner
  • Report defects and damages to Foreman if applicable
  • Conduct interior repairs on windows, doors, frames, baseboards, floors
  • Conduct carpentry finishing and framing, as required
  • Conduct repairs on insulation and drywall, as required
  • Prepare the house for inspections including City and customer
  • Ensure the complete cleanup of the home inside and out
  • Conduct repairs on insulation and drywall, as required
  • Conduct inspections of finished framing and rough-in’s
  • Prepare houses for city inspection by conducting a thorough check of each home as scheduled
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management

We would like you to have:

  • High School Diploma is an asset.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience. On-the-job training is a must.
  • Computer skills are an asset
  • General knowledge of residential framing and all its components.
  • General knowledge of rough-in’s and preparation for inspections.
  • Proficient with basic power tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written) and a team player
  • Reliable, self-starter with great attention to detail
  • Flexible to move to different projects and jobs
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required
