Position: Security Guard

Location: Pickering, ON

Salary: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

G4S Secure Solutions is currently seeking a Security Guard to join our team in Pickering, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

– Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
– Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
– Contact emergency services and other relevant parties as needed
– Notify supervisors and on-site personnel of any security threats or issues

Qualifications:

– Valid Security Guard license
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to handle pressure and remain calm in high-stress situations
– Detail-oriented and observant
– Ability to work independently or as part of a team
