- Master’s or Doctoral degree in fields listed above and 1 year of professional experience.
What to expect for the interview?

- Meet Unit Supervisors, Area Supervisors and our very own Area Director, Wayne Olson!
- Spend time with the interview panel for approx. 30 minutes.
- Review a short video and you will be notified within 25min if you are a recommended candidate in the running.

If you are not chosen as the recommended candidate in the running, your interview score will remain on file for up to 6 months for consideration.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Counselor, you will provide professional vocational rehabilitation counseling to individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their employment goals. You will assess medical, psychological, and vocational information to determine service eligibility and develop individualized employment plans. Your role involves coordinating and negotiating services, vendor payments, conducting job placement activities, and building relationships with employers and community partners.You’ll manage client information and case records, provide technical assistance to internal and external customers, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and actively maintain fiscal compliance. Effective communication, data analysis, and career counseling skills are essential. You must balance multiple priorities, work productively under tight deadlines, and maintain a goal-directed approach.
