Your expertise will ensure that our projects are competitively priced, profitable, and executed efficiently.**Responsibilities:**1. **Estimation:** Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for commercial drywall projects.2. **Bid Preparation:** Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids based on project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.3. **Cost Analysis:** Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality standards.4. **Vendor and Subcontractor Management:** Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.5. **Project Coordination:** Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates and bids.6. **Risk Assessment:** Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with projects, and develop strategies to mitigate them.7. **Documentation:** Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, contracts, and other relevant documents.8. **Continuous Improvement:** Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to continuously improve estimating processes and methodologies.**Requirements:**1. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.2. **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drywall estimation.3. **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in estimating software such as Onscreen Takeoff/ QuickBid, Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.4. **Analytical Skills:** Ability to analyze project requirements, interpret drawings and specifications, and accurately calculate material and labor costs.5. **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
