- 3+ years of relevant estimating maintenance/construction industry experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with estimating software e.g. HeavyBid an asset
- Post secondary education in contract management and/or engineering
- Advanced knowledge of MTO contracts
- Familiarity with roadway maintenance
Day in the life:Step into the exciting world of Highway maintenance tendering, where you as an estimator are armed with a strategic mind and a competitive spirit! You will fearlessly navigate MTO contracts and decipher project plans to build projects per specifications. With a keen eye for detail, you will perform accurate take-offs, prepare detailed estimates from first principals, utilize cost history as a bench mark when required, while using your estimating software expertise.
You will be required to solicit quotations,, and engage in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors. You will also be attending pre-bid, post-bid and post-award meetings as well as assist with smooth project transition from pursuit to execution when successful.
Keeping in close contact with the project managers, you will assist with change orders and maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the public, You will not be limited to being just a numbers’ expert, you’re also an expert in ensuring contract compliance and government regulations are met.This role is for you if you enjoy:

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling inquiries and resolving customer complaints.
