Job description: Position Overview: As a Flooring Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients choose the right flooring solutions. You will work closely with our sales and installation teams to ensure accurate estimates and quotes are provided to clients, creating a seamless and satisfying customer experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to assess flooring needs and measure spaces accurately.
  • Consult with clients to understand their preferences, budget, and design requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to recommend suitable flooring products and materials.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and quotes for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of flooring products, trends, and pricing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
  • Assist in coordinating scheduling with the installation team.
  • Document and organize all relevant project details and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in flooring sales or estimation is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and floor plans.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with estimation software (e.g., Xactimate, FloorRight).
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in flooring or sales is a plus.
