The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating commercial retail renovation projects with budgets up to $5 million. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial retail renovation projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information for estimating purposes.
• Provide timely and comprehensive estimates to support project planning and decision-making.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions as needed to support project objectives.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Construction Estimator with a general contractor.
• Proven experience in estimating commercial retail renovation projects with budgets up to $5 million.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating.
• Degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or related field is an asset.
