Job description: Powell Foundations Inc. (PFI) strives to provide clients with all their foundation needs. We specialize in constructing temporary excavation protection, pile driving, deep caisson shafts, sheet pile cofferdams, noise barriers, and overhead sign footings.We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team in Stouffville, Ontario.Main Responsibilities

• Manage bid list and coordinate upcoming tenders.
• Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation to accurately identify and organize the project requirements.
• Prepare estimates, quotes, and proposals.
• Solicit pricing and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide a high standard of customer service to our clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with our industry partners.
• Be a mentor to Jr. Estimators.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist.
• 5-7 years of estimation and/or project management experience in heavy civil construction (MTO/OPSS experience an asset).
• Knowledge of shoring systems and deep foundations (piles and lagging, caisson wall, sheet piling, shotcrete, caissons, micropiles, helicals and driven piles) ideal.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with software (Microsoft Word/Excel/Project) and experience with an accounting/work order solution such as Jonas.
• Experience using blue beam & AutoCAD.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and strong math skills.

Job Description:

Our company is currently seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services for our web applications. This individual will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of all components.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

– Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
