The successful candidate will ensure that all finishing work meets the highest standards of quality and is completed on schedule.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
- Ensure all finishing tasks, including drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures, are completed to high standards.
- Monitor project progress and maintain a detailed project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Resolve any on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Communicate regularly with the project manager and other team members to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Manage site safety, ensuring all workers follow safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in low-rise residential construction, with a focus on finishing.
- Proven track record of successfully completing townhouse or similar residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation
$90K-$100K depending on candidate’s experience.
