We are seeking a skilled and dependable Full-time Painter to join our team at DT Home Reno. This individual will be responsible for painting and refinishing various surfaces and structures in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in painting and a strong attention to detail. This is a full-time, hourly position located in St. Thomas, ON.Compensation:
This is a full-time position, paid hourly with a compensation rate of $17 to $22 per hour. Compensation will be paid biweekly.Responsibilities:
– Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, and sanding rough spots
– Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, furniture, and equipment
– Use brushes, rollers, and spraying equipment to apply coats of paint or other finishes
– Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
– Clean and maintain all painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers
– Provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with clients to ensure satisfaction with the finished productRequirements:
– Strong knowledge of painting techniques, including mixing paint and selecting the appropriate tools for different surfaces
– Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
– Physical ability to stand, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
