What is so exciting about this position is that you get to work and support our Senior Supportive Living Community. One gets to know, support and have FUN with the many senior residents throughout all of Silvera’s communities, along with building internal relationships with your colleagues at Shouldice Commons.Reporting to the Community Manager, the Housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness and safety of the community during their shift.Shift times are: 7:30am – 4:00pm (8 hours per day, 32 hours bi-weekly and days are Tuesday & Fridays) (One must be available for these shift times and day)Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the daily cleaning of resident units including bed-making, linen and towel change.
  • Responsible for the laundry and cleanliness of all common areas and flooring.
  • Responsible for the overall security and safety of the community and residents during the assigned shift
  • Resolves any emergency situations which may arise and completes all paperwork and follows procedures as required
  • Reports any safety issues to the Community Manager and is knowledgeable in emergency procedures and can act accordingly
  • Required to travel between all communities to relieve other housekeepers on vacation or extended leaves of absence

Desired qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience into housekeeping/room attending experience is essential.
  • Must possess a high standard of hygiene and personal appearance.
  • Good Communication skills and excellent customer service skills, Pleasing attitude and the ability to relate to seniors.
  • Must have Food Handling course, WHMIS, and First Aid or willing to take.
  • Basic computer skills

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain project schedules
– Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
