Although they specialize in fabricating and erecting structural steel for buildings and bridges, they also manufacture and install platework, such as breechings, stacks, ducts, penstocks, process & storage tanks and custom process-equipment. Ocean Steel’s two New Brunswick plants include the original location in Saint John, as well as the York Steel Plant in Fredericton, which was acquired by Ocean Steel in 1995.Responsibilities

• Use overhead crane to position and rotate steel,
• Prep steel beams for paint,
• Assist with taping areas.
• Spray paint steel beams using airless sprayer,
• Working outside and assisting in Shipping Yard.
• Finding and marking steel beams to be loaded for shipping.
• Using overhead crane to help load steel onto trucks.
• Snow Removal

Requirements

• Completion of high school,
• Experience using airless sprayer,
• Experience painting steel,
• Ability to work rotating shifts as this position does include night shift.

• Night shift does not align with bus schedule so transportation will be required *
