Job description: We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Landscape Estimator to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a background in landscape construction and estimating, with the ability to assess project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates.Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Quantify materials and estimate labor and equipment needs for various landscape elements including planting, sod, pavers, asphalt, concrete (curbs, walls, paving), and site furnishings and more.
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and B2W for estimating purposes.
- Review scope of work and contracts upon project award to ensure alignment with estimates.
- Prepare competitive bids or proposals for landscape projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and finalize terms.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and project-related documentation.
- Provide support if required to project managers and project coordinators throughout projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and landscape construction practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in landscape construction and estimating.
- Proficiency in landscape estimating software, including Bluebeam and B2W, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of landscape construction industry practices and standards.
Additional Details:
- This is an in-office position; remote work is not available.
- Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 annually.
