- Manages and directs its teams in the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance on a 24/7 schedule
- Conducts factory tours to identify and/or evaluate work to be done or in progress
- Prioritizes, schedules, and distributes work to maintenance teams
- Ensures the execution of purchase orders
- Participates in maintenance work as required
- Ensures that all duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures
- Establishes and maintains a preventative maintenance program for all plant equipment
- Establishes and maintains an appropriate inventory level of spare parts
- Maintains and updates drawings of equipment, components, and electrical schematics
- Works in conjunction with equipment manufacturers to implement the best possible solutions to achieve production objectives
- Ensures the operation and maintenance of production equipment
- Ensures maintenance reports are completed accurately and on time
- Responsible for investigations and corrective actions following equipment breakdowns and breakdowns
- Generates and implements improvement ideas for production operations
- Ensures the management and execution of various works and projects (CAPEX)
- Is available for emergency and “over-call” outages, as needed
- Ensures an ongoing training plan for maintenance personnel
- Conducts evaluations of maintenance employees
- Actively participates within the management team in the implementation of the Continuous Improvement Program (WCM)
- Any other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization
Is this job for you ?
- Degree in a discipline related to industrial maintenance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supervisory roles
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent knowledge of preventive maintenance programs (CMMS)
- Good command of the Microsoft suite

Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 per year
Our company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
– Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
