The ideal candidate should have excellent written and spoken English skills and experience with various technologies, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and 2-way radio systems. Additionally, the candidate should possess mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and general construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and flooring knowledge. Having previously worked in a full-service hotel or resort setting, knowing pool and hot tub maintenance is highly desirable. IfCompensation Information:$19.00 – $21.00 per hourPhysical Requirement:Heavy, work activities involve handling loads of more than 20 kg, predominately in an indoor settingThis job position requires physical presence at the designated location.Accountabilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of facilities
- Always adhere to safety standards and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to address operational needs
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with the public
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working at heights
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the 4-10-hour shift pattern
- Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with three days off every week, including long weekends
- Take advantage of recreational activities such as skiing, snowboarding, biking, golfing, and more during downtime
- Commit to full-time, year-round permanent employment
Ideal Candidate:
- Authorization to work within Canada
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- High level of experience with technology
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- WHMIS certification preferred
- Recent Emergency Response Training and current First Aid (OFA-LV1) Training considered are assets

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial construction, with a strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools. The Carpenter will be responsible for a variety of duties, including framing, installing doors and windows, building stairs, and finishing work. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
– Read and interpret blueprints and plans
– Measure and cut materials to the required specifications
– Install doors, windows, and other fixtures
– Perform framing, trim work, and finish carpentry
– Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
– Ensure work is completed on time and to the highest standard
– Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience as a Carpenter
– Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints
– Excellent attention to detail
– Strong communication skills
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
