Responsibilities include preparation, organization, and maintenance of all site related issues, monitoring budgets, change notices/orders and procurement as well as subcontractor coordination. Other duties include progress reporting, schedule development and general administration.What You’ll Do Here

• Oversee the project from site.
• Ensure that construction is budget is adhered to. Identify budget issues as construction progresses and report to project team.
• Make sure installations are completed on time and are of good quality.
• Determine the required manpower, equipment and material resources needed to maintain schedule.
• Work with site supervisors to develop 2-week plans for the project.
• Monitor construction processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor quality standards and implement quality-control programs.
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
• Review supervisor performance.
• Identify training needs.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

What You Bring to the Team

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the electrical industrial sector is preferred.
• Experience or Trade Certification in an Electrical or Civil discipline (or optional).
• Knowledge in the construction of electrical and substation facilities.
• Demonstration of successful completion of construction projects.
• A willingness to travel, often to remote areas where projects are located.
• A safe work environment.
• Computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), MS Word and Excel software applications, etc.
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities, teamwork skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
