The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of industrial operations including but not limited to project takeoffs, bidding & pursuit, scheduling, procurement, progress tracking, staff recruitment, etc.This opportunity is open to candidates throughout Canada, and the employer will cover reasonable costs associated with relocation for the successful candidate.Benefits & Perks:

Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in all aspects of industrial operations.
  • Developing high-level schedules & workflows.
  • Overseeing all aspects of construction projects.
  • Putting together estimates & proposals.
  • Work to build relationships with construction partners.
  • Deal with all RFI’s, shop drawings, and details that pertain to design.
  • Performing quantity takeoffs and ordering of materials and consumable items.
  • Attend site walkthroughs and inspections as required.
  • Increasing organizational exposure to new clients, and pursuing new work.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of relevant experience in Industrial Construction; or 5 years of relevant in Industrial Construction with an additional 5+ years of relevant experience in Institutional or Commercial Construction.
  • Education in Business or Engineering.
  • Leadership. Capable of coordinating and working with others. Calm and professional management style.
  • Ambitious. Someone who has the desire to grow and lead.
  • Someone who has a broad skill set and can complete a large variety of tasks.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Will be working with everyone from owners to labourers, and everyone in between.
  • Problem solving & critical thinking in a fast-paced & deadline-driven environment.
  • Understanding of finances and budgets.
  • Ability to build relationships & work as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while remaining organized.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and other frequent software.
  • Valid driver’s license.
