Working closely with our project management and pre-construction teams, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting material and labour cost assessments, and collaborating with subcontractors to ensure competitive bids. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of MEP systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.Key Responsibilities: * Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate MEP estimates for commercial interior renovation projects, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

- Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure alignment between project requirements and estimated costs.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of estimates, bids, and other relevant documentation.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and labour costs to ensure competitiveness in the bidding process.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other industry partners.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 Years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as an MEP Estimator in the commercial construction industry, with a focus on interior renovations.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their associated costs.
- Proficiency in construction estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating.
