Required skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
- Previous office administration experience
- Basic knowledge of payroll processes
- Previous experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience with Sage50 considered an asset
- Ability to work independently/in a team
- Keen attention to detail
- Comfortable working in an industrial / blue collar environment
- Must be able and eager to learn
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Collect and balance timesheet details and hours worked
- Complete internal and external pay sheets
- Process weekly payroll for 100+ employees using Sage50
- Process weekly reimbursements as required
- Maintain various payroll reports
- Complete security clearances and facilitate clearance management
- Coordinate and plan for field management services (accommodation, meals, etc.)
- Assist with the maintenance and inventory count of the small tool store for the field
- Other miscellaneous office duties such as filing, scanning, employee record keeping, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $55,000 per year based on experienceMonday to Thursday – 7:00am to 4:30pm
