You will oversee project status, and work with other resources. This is a great opportunity for a Building Automation Specialist or Technician with direct experience, who wishes to move into a BAU Project Manager role!Responsibilities:

  • Manages and coordinate multiple projects according to the company’s established project Oversee onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Manages and coordinate multiple projects according to the company’s established project management methodologies and tools.
  • Develops project execution plan, detailed project schedules, incorporating critical timelines from construction requirements including work breakdown, structure, work package, and resource planning to achieve the defined milestones.
  • Directs project technical teams through various stages including planning, estimating, designing, installation, start-up, commissioning, retrofit, turnover and warranty.
  • Profitably manage project portfolio; manage revenue and gross margin.
  • Act as main point of customer contact for project delivery and issues mitigation.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Requires three years of college or technical school, Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent combination of education and related practical experience.
  • 5+ years of direct experience working with Building Automation Systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified with PMI or equivalent experience is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Good knowledge of building systems, mechanical systems and relevant standards
  • Proven diagnostic skills, able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and quality-driven and decision-making abilities.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints and is able to adapt to change easily.
  • Self-motivated and good time management skills.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Visio, and MS Project.
  • IT literate.
  • Valid drivers license is essential.
