We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based at our fabrication facility in Pickering, ON Canada.Purpose:The success of Chemetics in winning and executing projects worldwide has created an opportunity to add a Project Manager to our team of professionals. Our Project Managers connect various disciplines to successfully deliver projects to our customers globally. As a member of our Planning division, this person will facilitate the manufacture of a diverse range of equipment.Responsibilities:

  • Main client point of contact through project execution.
  • Establish clear agreement on client objectives. Ensure these objectives are met.
  • Expediting project tasks to support the delivery schedule.
  • Identifying and managing project and contractual risks and opportunities.
  • Proactive resolution of scope, financial and schedule concerns.
  • Controlling and reporting of cost, schedule, progress and performance to management.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
  • Championing continuous improvement, sustainability, and change management processes.
  • Approach every interaction as an opportunity to facilitate success.

QualificationsWhat you will bringTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

  • Experience in leading or working within project teams.
  • Proficiency understanding design drawings, bills of material, specifications, procedures, purchase orders, and quality plans.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process such as welding process, machining process, and assembling process.
  • Understanding of project execution, management, quality and control methodologies.
  • Understanding of the project lifecycle for engineering, procurement and supply projects.
  • Knowledge of equipment fabrication, construction and site erection is considered an asset.

Our client, a leading architectural coatings manufacturer, is seeking an Architectural Specification Representative to join their team in Toronto.
