Salary: $130,000 to $170,000We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager with wood-frame multi-family experience to join our client’s team.Position Overview: The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of wood-frame multi-family construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of wood-frame multi-family construction projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Procure materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
- Oversee subcontractor selection, negotiation, and performance.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure projects are completed in accordance with building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment among project team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on wood-frame multi-family construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and permit processes in the Greater Vancouver area is preferred.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a considered an asset.
