Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.As a Quality Control Inspector, reporting to the Supervisor, Quality Control, you will ensure the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program is maintained and followed throughout NRB operations. This position may require travel up to 25% of the time to various NRB operations and customer construction sites.Your work will include:
- Provide thorough quality audits on the manufacturing of NRB Modular Solutions and other business units as required.
- Administer the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Program.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company, Industry and Contract standards and requirements.
- Liaise with other business units, departments, approving agencies, consultants, and client QA/QC as required.
- Participate during the evaluation of customer requirements for Design specifications against applicable code and regulatory requirements for construction and finished products.
- Participate in the development and implementation of internal Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) from project beginning to closeout, coordinating with Project Execution, Manufacturing and Subcontractor teams.
- Review inspections, evaluate reports, monitor known deficiencies to ensure Corrective Actions are followed-up, completed and documented in a timely manner.
- Support the transmittal and distribution of drawing packages from Document Control to the production floor, as required.
- Complete daily Job Hazard Assessments and Pre-Job Task Hazard Analysis forms.

Follow NRB Modular Solutions on , , and .QualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Successful completion of a diploma/degree/certificate or equivalent from an accredited university or college in Engineering, or Trades and Technology is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction in either the residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, factory building, or modular manufacturing sectors is preferred.
- Previous experience in a QA/QC role is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Experience in the structural environment is an asset (wood frame, roofing inspections, building envelope inspections)
- Thorough knowledge in reading symbols and diagrams and read blueprints
- Thorough with the setup and operation of welding machine and other equipment and metal fabrication equipment
- Understanding and experience working with GD&T specifications
- Oversee welding certification and welder performance to customer/standard specifications
- Recommend and implement solutions for weld quality issues.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
