Job description: Working on large scale institutional/light industrial projects, the Site Superintendent will oversee the daily operations of the site from the beginning stages through to completion. Providing overall management. Ensuring high quality service and achieving superior results on all base build and renovation projects under their direct supervision.
- Coordinate trades on commercial job site
- Resolve construction problems as required
- Monitor project schedules and be accountable on meeting project deadlines
- Hands-on work (framing, drywall, concrete repairs, etc)
- Expertise in reading blueprints.
- Experience with interior fit-ups as well as new commercial building construction.
- Possess highly developed problem solving/decision making skills.
- Have a thorough, hands-on working knowledge of Building Codes.

- 5-10 years of experience in a Site Superintendent role within a General Contracting firm
- A minimum of 5 year’s of Site Superintendent experience in commercial, light industrial and/or institutional new build
- Experience with interior fit-ups as well as new commercial building construction.
- Proficient knowledge in Site Development, Building Envelope, and civil for ICI facilities.
- Experience in developing tools for improving accuracy and timeliness of estimating and cost tracking
- Expertise in reading blueprints
- Base building experience would be considered an asset.
