Leveraging your expertise in commercial drywall construction and your keen understanding of project requirements, you will lead a team of estimators to accurately assess project scopes, develop cost estimates, and provide comprehensive proposals that meet client expectations. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drywall, with a proven track record of estimating large-scale projects.Responsibilities: * Lead and mentor a team of estimators to ensure accurate and timely completion of project estimates.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to understand project requirements and develop detailed scopes of work.
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to identify project needs and potential risks.
• Conduct on-site visits and assessments to gather relevant project data and assess site conditions.
• Analyze material and labor costs, subcontractor quotes, and other factors to develop accurate project cost estimates.
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to streamline the estimation process and improve accuracy.
• Prepare and present comprehensive proposals to clients, outlining project costs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of materials and subcontractor services at competitive prices.
• Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new technologies to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic initiatives and improve departmental processes to drive efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drywall construction, with at least 1 year in an estimating role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes related to commercial drywall projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and tools (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Procore).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of estimators.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
