  • Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent
  • Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
  • Meet with Owners in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
  • Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression
  • Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have a construction related degree/diploma and 5 to 10 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience managing building projects.
  • You have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software
  • You have the ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations

  • Monitor and report on Low Voltage and/or IMIT system’s progress during design, shop drawing, procurement, construction, testing and closeout phases of assigned projects
  • Assist Consultant and Subcontractor teams with developing MEiT integration deployment strategies to ensure design and subcontractor execution plans align with overall construction schedule and project requirements
  • Perform detailed shop drawing reviews of M&E Low Voltage and/or IMIT systems
  • Lead M&E Low Voltage and/or IMIT project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing progression
  • Witness and provide direction during functional performance testing of Low Voltage Mechanical and Electrical systems and integrations
  • Manage and oversee subcontractor close out activities specific to M&E Low Voltage or IMIT systems including delivery of training, as-builts and O&Ms

Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing software applications and ensuring that they meet quality standards before being released to customers. The QA Tester will also be responsible for identifying and documenting any bugs or defects in the software and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
– Test software applications for functionality, performance, and usability
– Create and execute test plans and test cases
– Identify, document, and track bugs and defects
– Collaborate with the development team to fix issues and improve software quality
– Conduct regression testing to ensure that previous bugs have been fixed
