Job description: We have an exciting opportunity for an talented Painter to join our Paint team in Langley, BC.This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth.Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday to FridayEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize instrumentation to measure painting parameters to ensure compliance with OEM specifications
- Reading & completing work orders
- Sanding and preparation of surfaces to be painted
- Hanging profiles and parts
- Mixing paints and painting parts on the line.
- Picking/prepping stock for paint and/or distribution
- Applying paint in the desired color and amount, using handheld electrostatic spray guns
- Ensuring the quality of the job is up to company standards and customer requirements
- Maintaining painting equipment and a clean work environment including the work area and equipment
- Assist in other parts of the plant including loading/unloading as required.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge/Experience and Skills:
- Minimum six (6) months – one (1) year of painting experience – electrostatic painting or powder coating experience an asset
- Fundamental knowledge of concepts in electrostatic procedures
- Ability to read, weigh and understand instructions
- Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds consistently
