What you bring to the Pinchin team:

  • University degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering or related degree and experience
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in a geotechnical engineering role
  • A Professional Engineering Designation in British Columbia or be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia
  • Able to work closely with our project teams across the company where geotechnical support may be of assistance, such as Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation and Building Sciences
  • Prior experience in consulting engineering or construction is considered an asset
  • The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, clients and managers
  • Proven technical writing skills for preparing geotechnical engineering reports and letters for clientele
  • Valid driver’s license insurance & personal vehicle is required (work-related travel expenses will be compensated)
