This person will need to have experience or interest working in an automotive paint department.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Refinishing of damaged panels and grills from mechanical and welding shops
  • Prepare surfaces for painting and repairing holes, dents and seams
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting; mixing paint, blending and matching colors; apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush and spray guns
  • Accurately complete required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Preparing equipment for painting may include sandblasting , washing , removing decals masking and hand sanding
  • Candidate will be responsible for sandblasting equipment and parts to painters standards .

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must speak, read and write English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate equipment, Headwater will provide training
  • Strong time management, verbal and written communication skills
  • Conscientious and a fast learner
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of projects and tasks
  • Reliable, punctual and dependable
  • Professional attitude and willing to work in a team environment

Working Environment
