- Lead project teams in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater facilities with a focus on SCADA and instrumentation and control (I&C).
- Develop project scope, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular project meetings, progress reports, and presentations to communicate project status and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years experience in engineering and 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the design and construction of water and wastewater facilities.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, with a focus on I&C.
- Experience in I&C engineering, including PLC programming, SCADA systems, and process automation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are desirable.
