Fabricate dies, die sections, fixtures and any other required components within a specific time frame
Troubleshoot and repair dies and fixtures, in the Tool Room and Press, as required to solve problems within the time constraints dictated by the Production Schedule
Report immediately all problems that may affect the on time completion of assigned work
Provide guidance and teaching to apprentices
Maintain safety standards and cleanliness of work area as outlined by Supervisory staff
Must be aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how it effects quality and the environment for our customers

YOUR MISSION:Reporting to the Production Lead, the Base Maker is responsible for producing all liquid bases for the production line team to use to make into finished products. This role will also ensure that all GMP and food safety guidelines are priority one when stepping into the production area. It is expected for you to set the standard and be exemplary in upholding Righteous Quality and Integrity with every shift.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver on the Ten Things that Require Zero Talent: Being on time, work ethic, effort, body language, attitude, passion, being coachable, doing extra, being prepared.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product knowledge, ingredients and allergens (we’ll teach you!)
  • Inspect all raw materials for quality and safety.
  • Follow flavour batch sheets to weigh, measure and process specific ingredients into each batch to produce our world class products.
  • Ensure every ingredient is easily traced using precise record keeping regarding amounts, lot codes, etc.
  • While this role will primarily be making base, depending on the quantities and flavours some of most shifts will be spent working on the production line.

THE MUST HAVES – KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to stand for duration of shifts (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Flexibility within shift schedules including early mornings, evenings/overnights and occasional weekends (This role will typically work 7am to 3pm)
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to perform basic math, reading and writing.
