Join us.Job DescriptionAecom Calgary is looking at hiring a Project Manager.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:
- Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,
- Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,
- Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
- Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
- Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
The Project Manager manages all assigned projects from planning till close-out, through the end to end lifecycle of the individual projects. This is a supervisory role, leading the design and construction delivery teams.We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has experience with downstream sites / fuels scope
- Typically 2-5 years working as a project manager on multi-disciplinary projects
- Has strong safety and planning skills
- Good understanding of contracts and the commercial management of projects
To look after the RUST program. This specific program focuses on:
- Fuel systems
- Removal of existing fuel tanks and replacement with new tanks
- Works to oil water separators
- Site paving
- Dispenser replacements
- General making good of sites
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline (civil, mechanical, electrical, construction management, etc)
- 4+ years of experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP designation is a huge asset
- Professional Engineer license or eligibility

We are looking for a Civil Infrastructure Project Manager for immediate employment in our Mississauga, Ontario office. The candidate will work closely with the senior management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical oversight and integrated project management of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver diverse municipal infrastructure projects. The project manager will possess a high degree of integrity and responsibility in the execution of their work.
Responsibilities:
– Manage a diverse range of municipal infrastructure projects with contract values ranging from $100k to $10M
– Prepare project charters, scope of services, and project execution plans
– Develop and maintain strong client relationships
– Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
– Responsible for project delivery, costs and project schedule
– Monitor project performance to ensure client approval and satisfaction
– Conduct regular project review meetings with clients and relevant stakeholders
– Ensure project health and safety standards are met
– Perform construction site visits and inspections as required
– Manage project risks and opportunities
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
– Professional Engineering license in the Province of Ontario
– Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience
– Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Strong oral and written communication skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
– Previous experience working on municipal infrastructure projects is preferred
