Job description: Description :Cleaver-Brooks Canada Packaged Boiler Systems, a leading manufacturer of boilers and energy recovery systems, has an immediate opening for a Painter/Shipper on the weekend shift, which runs 7:00am to 7:00pm Friday to Sunday, at their facility located at 161 Lorne Avenue, West, Stratford, Ontario, Canada.Basic Function:The successful applicant will be required to wash, tape, prepare and paint all product to specification, perform in the shipping function plus other related activities as assigned by Supervisor.Essential Duties:
- Prepare and paint all products in accordance to work instructions
- Spray painting equipment
- Operating crane to move equipment into position
- Operate forklift
- Follow schedules and input received from Supervisor in order to maintain production levels
- Perform assigned material handling, inventory tracking and maintenance of equipment
Experience and Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years experience painting in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Able to operate paint spraying equipment
- Experience and ability to operate an overhead crane
- Experience and ability to drive a forklift (will certify internally)
- Experience and ability to use various hand tools
- Ability to maintain equipment, tools and facility in good order
- Able to perform necessary computer functions
- Ability to work well with other employees and actively participate in employee involvement activities and problem solving
- Fully promote safety at all times
