Company: Springland Manufacturing
Location: Rivers, MB
Job description: Position Title: Professional PainterDepartment: PaintingReports To: Painting SupervisorLocation: Springland ManufacturingCompany OverviewSpringland Manufacturing was founded in 1985 by brothers Henry, John, and Herman Lepp on the family farm north of Rivers, Manitoba, Canada. They aimed to build a mechanical grain bin cleaner that had greater efficiency, was safer, and simpler to use than what was on the market at the time. The first systems sold were round-tube unloaders for bins up to 48 feet in diameter. In 1998, the Springland U-Trough design was developed to address the need for faster emptying of larger grain bins with less product damage. The U-Trough Unloader, now marketed worldwide, has largely replaced the round-tube style. In 1989, Springland Manufacturing expanded into the commercial grain handling market with the 6000 Series Commercial Sweep for large storage bins up to 135 feet in diameter. The updated 6025 Series Sweep, featuring the Positive Drive advance system and a safer Zero-Entry design, is now the benchmark for commercial sweeps.Recognizing another marketplace need in 2005, Springland introduced the Springland Elevator Wheel, setting the standard in sweep advancement over aeration floors. Combined with the U-Trough Unloader, this innovation has placed Springland well ahead of the competition in bin sweep design.Celebrating its 35th year in business in 2020, Springland has grown a staff of dedicated local employees and, through its extensive dealer network, has sales spanning North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.Job SummaryThe Professional Painter is responsible for applying paint and coatings to various products and surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company standards.
