Role is fully on sightDuties:
– Key Account Management of industrial and aerospace clients
– Solving supply chain issues, prioritizing accounts, processing orders,
– Interpreting technical drawings, completing and submitting customer quotations,
– Providing on-going technical support to customers
– Estimation – creation of customer quotations and RFQ costing, obtaining third party pricing for raw materials
– Following up on inbound leads
– Calling back clients in order to figure out their needs and consulting with them to be able to provide quotesRequirements:
- Min 5 years experience doing estimating in technical manufacturing environment
- Must be comfortable with Canadian geography
- Experience in Aerospace products
- Ability to read drawings
- Must be Technically inclined
- Must have strong mathematical skills
- Strong in MS Office
- AutoCAD is a Huge Asset
- Experience working in a AS9100/ISO 9001 environment

The City of Burnaby is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team. This position will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department, assisting with recruitment, employee relations, and other HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and contacting candidates
– Maintaining and updating employee records
– Assisting with employee orientation and training programs
– Providing administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and other tasks as needed
– Assisting with employee relations issues as needed
– Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
– Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
– Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in Human Resources
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
– Proficiency in MS Office suite
