Job description: At Flynn, it’s not just a job, it’s a careerFlynn is currently seeking a Thermal Simulator to work within Flynn’s Technical Group to provide both 2D and 3D thermal simulations for various façade, and fenestration products. The successful candidate will be working on both contract work and R&D initiatives to develop future systems. The Thermal Simulator must be a self-motivated fast learner with a desire to continuously stay up to date with the latest techniques and energy standards across North America and Europe. They will be tasked with working with the design department to both analyze details and recommend changes as required to meet specifications.What We Offer

A Day in the Life
- Prepare and analyze 2D thermal simulation using THERM and WINDOW.
- Prepare and analyze 3D thermal simulations using various software.
- Work with the design department to analyze and develop detailing based on specification requirements.
- Research and stay current with Energy codes across NA and Europe.
- Aid in the development of new products.
- Plan and coordinate testing as required.
- All other duties as required.
What We Are Seeking
- CET degree in applicable field such as building science
- Previous experience working in Curtain Wall/Façade industry is an asset
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, THERM, WINDOW, Solido, Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of building/energy codes.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in team environments.
- Ability to understand and read drawings in 3D.

Job Description:
