Job Description Overview:This position provides technical assistance on vocational rehabilitation and Workers’ Compensation issues to both internal and external participants. Key responsibilities include managing a caseload, developing resources, implementing projects to enhance services, and offering independent vocational counseling to individuals with diverse disabilities. The role involves tracking and monitoring data to ensure service effectiveness.The incumbent will assess vocational, medical, and psychological information to determine eligibility for services and develop individualized plans for vocational outcomes. They provide consultation, training, and guidance to VR Counselors and Supervisors, support job development efforts, and serve as a liaison with employers. Additional duties include managing resources, ensuring financial compliance, and providing technical assistance on Workers’ Compensation issues. The position also requires balancing multiple priorities, working under tight deadlines, and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues to foster productivity and morale.
